Driving Environmental Leadership

  • Sustainable mobility: In 2024, nearly 20% of gasoline vehicles in our fleet were replaced with hybrid or plug-in hybrid models, marking a significant step towards an even more sustainable company fleet. 
  • Solar energy leadership: Solar panels installed at our headquarters provide 26% of the site’s total electricity consumption. Their production is sufficient to fully power all hybrid company vehicles, while also supporting broader operational energy needs.
  •  Energy and emission reduction: In 2024, relative electricity consumption decreased by 17.94% and relative gas consumption by 28.89%, exceeding our annual reduction goals. 
  •  Water efficiency: Relative water consumption decreased by 3.05%, surpassing our 0.5% per-annum reduction target 
  • Employee awareness: Each employees receive training on the SanaClis Policies and multiple sustainability matters, with new modules on energy saving and recycling introduced through our digital learning systems.
  • Environmental standards: Maintaining our detailed SOP and setting a high environmental operational standard.

Environmental Disclosures and Commitments

SanaClis transparently discloses its environmental performance to EcoVadis, CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

As part of our SBTi commitment, SanaClis commits to: Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year and to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions.

Giving Back to the Community

Mentoring Young Talent 

SanaClis is a proud patron of the Lifbee Academy in Slovakia, a project for young students which acts as an  innovation incubator, focused on biotechnology.  We strive to encourage young minds to get involved in responsible business, using biotechnology, improve the world we live in and open themselves to future opportunities. We support annual competitions, seminars, lectures and workshops as we believe that guiding young people to pursue meaningful careers and ensure a solid foundation for their future is key.

Supporting Care Beyond Treatment

SanaClis supports ČERVENÝ NOS Clowndoctors (RED NOSE Clowndoctors) Slovakia as part of its commitment to improving the human side of healthcare.

ČERVENÝ NOS Clowndoctors is a non-profit organization that has been active in Slovakia for more than 20 years. Their mission is to bring joy, laughter and emotional support to children in hospitals, seniors & patients in palliative care.

Through regular hospital visits, their team of professional healthcare clowns creates moments of relief, distraction and connection in environments that are often defined by stress and uncertainty. These interactions support patients’ emotional well-being and contribute to a more positive healthcare experience.

At SanaClis, this aligns with a broader focus on improving healthcare beyond operations, by supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference in patients’ everyday experiences.

We are passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and creating inspiration to overcome limitations. SanaClis is delighted to be partners of sport associations and festivals, aiming to empower the youth and promote strong values through sports.
